Moonsteps support
Moonsteps helps children aged 4 to 10 count down to the things they’re waiting for, like birthdays, holidays and Christmas, in sleeps. Every bedtime they pop tonight’s moon, and the wait gets one sleep shorter.
Questions, problems or ideas? Email us at hello@tobacreative.com and we’ll get back to you.
Why can’t my child pop tonight’s moon?
The moon wakes up at bedtime: 6pm by default. Before then it shows a small clock. A grown-up can change the time to 7pm or 8pm in the Grown-ups area (tap the lock at the top of the home screen).
How do I add the widgets?
Touch and hold an empty part of your home screen, tap the + button, then search for Moonsteps. There are three widgets: one countdown, tonight’s moon and a list of every countdown. Widgets need iOS 17 or later.
How do I change or delete a countdown?
Open the Grown-ups area (the lock at the top of the home screen), answer the grown-ups question, then choose Edit or Delete next to the countdown.
Can I move my countdowns to a new device?
Not at the moment. Moonsteps keeps everything on the device it’s installed on and never uploads it anywhere, so countdowns don’t move between devices.
You can read the full Moonsteps privacy policy.
